What a cluttered life we lead...

When I was a little girl I used to dream about the little house with the white picket fence and the perfect family that would live happily ever after. Claire Huxtable and Wilma Flintstone made it all look so easy. It was a rude awakening when I realized that being a mother was the hardest, most trying job I would ever have. Sleepless nights, endless piles of laundry and dishes and out of control children were just so unexpected. Was it really the same for my mother?
I hope you find some good uses/crafts for all those game pieces.
ReplyDeleteIf you have a lot of crayon bits you can turn them into Colour Cookies. You can check it out at http://thetobyshow.typepad.com/the_toby_show/cheap-easy.html.
I still think giving them to Goodwill is a good idea. I've bought things before that weren't a complete set. Sometimes just to get a piece that I'm missing, or to have extra pieces. :o)
ReplyDeleteOh man... Would it make you feel better to know I have a collection just like yours? Maybe if we put ours together we can get complete sets of things???
ReplyDeleteCan you recycle the plastic???
Oh yes I have seen this mess before. It is hard to throw the first piece away but once you do it is so liberating. Next thing you know you have throw it all away and screaming "Yes, Yes, Yes!" It feels to so good to be free of those tiny little pieces out of the floor.
